Professional Journey

Understanding organizations first. Building better systems second.

I’m Gaelle Pierre-Louis, and I’m drawn to the practical side of organizational change: how information moves, how teams coordinate and where processes create or reduce friction. My path began in research and public service, where a growing curiosity about how organizations function naturally led me toward business systems, operations, CRM technologies, and project management.

My Approach

Understand the Organization

Reading people, processes, context, and systems before designing the solution.

Business Systems

Translating organizational needs into structured workflows, business processes, and technology solutions.

CRM

Managing relationships and organizational information.

Operations

Coordinating people, processes, and execution.

Project Management

Data Analytics

Using data to evaluate performance, uncover insights, and support better decisions.

Career timeline

Each stage built a different perspective on how organizations work.

2020–2024

Education at Soka University

Studying social and behavioral sciences taught me to look at organizations through people, context, and systems—not just individual tasks.

2023

Smithsonian Internship

Curatorial research taught me how to organize complex information, synthesize evidence, and communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.

2024

Legal Internship

Legal research and data analysis strengthened my analytical thinking while teaching me to quickly adapt to new tools and work within highly structured, detail-oriented environments.

2024–2025

Nonprofit Work

Managing executive programs and stakeholder relationships showed me how effective systems, coordination, and clear processes keep complex organizations moving.

2025

Career turning point

A career transition gave me the opportunity to reflect on the kind of work I wanted to build toward: improving systems, organizing information, and helping teams operate more effectively.

2025–2026

Technical upskilling

I built the technical foundation needed to turn operational thinking into practical solutions through CRM, project management, data analytics, and user experience design.

Today

Putting It Into Practice

I'm applying this foundation through portfolio projects that demonstrate practical solutions in CRM, business operations, project management, and process improvement.
